UCO College of Business

The College of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma strives to be the premier provider of business education in the state of Oklahoma. It is the only business program in the state to have won multiple U.S. Professor of the Year awards in the last five years. This award salutes the most outstanding undergraduate instructors in the country - those who excel in teaching and positively influence the lives and careers of students (2007 and 2008).

 The College offers a variety of undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Information Systems and Operations Management, Economics, as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree. Our students, faculty, and alumni are leading the way in the business community.  The UCO College of Business is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Vice President, Division Controller of Chesapeake Engergy Corporation

            B.S. Accounting '87

A native of Oklahoma City, Traci has been a member of the finance team at Chesapeake for 18 years. She currently oversees the company's corporate and financial reporting functions, as well as the accounting information management functions.

Joan Stone recently was named as one of the outstanding faculty members at the Athletic Academic Awards Banquet. She was presented with the Most Inspiring Professor award.

Student Spotlight

2012-challenge-sponsorsOn November 14-17, Instructor Bob Kaiser traveled to Patterson, NJ along with students Matt Bradford and Rachael Cook. They attended the National Sales Challenge at the Russ Berrie Institute located on the campus of William Patterson University. UCO was well represented and finished 5th in the team competition. Individually, Rachael Cook finished in 7th place out of the 64 competitors.
