UCO College of Business

The College of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma strives to be the premier provider of business education in the state of Oklahoma. It is the only business program in the state to have won multiple U.S. Professor of the Year awards in the last six years. This award salutes the most outstanding undergraduate instructors in the country - those who excel in teaching and positively influence the lives and careers of students (2007 and 2008).

 The College offers a variety of undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Information Systems and Operations Management, Economics, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration degree. Our students, faculty, and alumni are leading the way in the business community.  The UCO College of Business is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

 Tax Manager at Cole + Reed

 MBA - 2008

 Anne Scudder has embraced  and lived the American  Dream. She began her career  in Malaysia and came to  Oklahoma when she married her husband. Since then, she has attended three universities, the final one being UCO. Earning the title of Tax Manager is more than just a promotion, it is the culmination of the American Dream that Anne loves so much. Anne is happily married and has one son, William.

 Associate Professor
 ISOM Department 

 Joselina Cheng, Ph.D., associate professor of Information Systems and Operations Management, recently was named the winner of the 2014 UCO EXCEL  Impact Award in recognition of her work with D2L. She was selected by a panel of judges and will be nominated for the 2014 Desire2EXCEL International  Awards. Cheng created cloud-based, automated tutorials in D2L to encourage the use of a multi-sensory learning environment for online students.  Students access the tutorials for help with solving real-world problems or to complete assignments. This type of assistance, immediately available when  the student recognizes the need for help, is preferred by digital natives and working adults.

DUNCAN RACHEL

Congrats to our Spring 2014 Class Marshall, Rachel Duncan!

Rachel earned the title of Class Marshall for achieving the highest academic records within our colleges during her time at Central.

Rachel was a finance and information systems and operations management major and she represented the College of Business as Class Marshal with a 4.0 GPA. She will continue her career in Information Technology as a program analyst.

Rachel was a member of the President’s Honor Roll, 2BLeaders Mentorship Program, Finance Club, Real Estate Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society. She also was a recipient of the Chesapeake Energy Corporation Scholar and Robert Aldridge Armed Forces scholarships.
